Babysitter’s Training
Youth learn the responsibilities of a babysitter, child development stages,
childcare, and activities for children, accident prevention and basic first aid.
Open to boys and girls ages 11 to 15.
Adult/AED, Infant & Child CPR & First Aid
Recognize and care for breathing & cardiac emergencies in adults, infants
and children; identify and care for life-threatening bleeding, sudden illness
and injuries. This course also teaches individuals the skills and knowledge
needed to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest through the use of
an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Adult/AED, Infant & Child CPR
Learn CPR techniques, rescue breathing and how to care for a choking adult,
infant and/or child victim. This course also teaches individuals the skills and
knowledge needed to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest through
the use of an AED.
Adult CPR w/AED & First Aid Basics
Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic
care for injuries and sudden illness, including using an AED for victims of
sudden cardiac arrest.
Adult CPR w/AED
The purpose of this course is to prepare individuals to provide care for
breathing emergencies, perform CPR, and use an AED for victims of sudden cardiac
arrest.
First Aid Basics
Learn bandaging, splinting and treatment for sudden illness. It is
recommended that participants possess a current CPR certificate before taking
this course.
Connecticut Child Care
A state approved course to prepare daycare personnel how to prevent
accidents, administer first aid and recognize the signs and symptoms of
childhood illness. In addition, you will learn how to give rescue breathing,
care for a choking victim and perform CPR on a infant and/or child.
Infant & Child CPR
Learn to give rescue breathing, care for a choking victim and administer CPR
to an infant and/or child. Special emphasis placed on injury prevention.
Recommended for parents and daycare providers.
