Disaster Services
When a disaster strikes, such as a home fire or a large flood, the Red Cross is there providing assistance. Become trained in:
- Case Work and Assistance to Families
- Mass Feeding and Shelter
- Damage Assessment
- Disaster Health Services (RN, LPN, MD, EMT)
- Also associate with HAM Radio Communications and Disaster Mental Health
Blood Services
Red Cross is the sole supplier of blood in Connecticut hospitals. Help at blood drives by becoming a receptionist, serving refreshments, or providing general assistance.
Emergency Blood Coverage:
Red Cross is looking for enthusiastic individuals to be a part of our
Emergency Blood Coverage Team. This team saves lives by transporting
